DAY 3 - This is a delightful optional day to tag onto two hands-on creative days and priority booking will be given to those attending. An exclusive opportunity to visit Melissa in her delightful studio in Hastings. A truly inspiring space, with so much to take in of Melissa's work past and present. Chat about the design process, collaborations and technique over coffee and cake. There will be the change to buy some of her exclusive prototypes should you wish. We will then make our way to Hastings Contemporary Art Gallery to view their exhibition Immortal Apples, Eternal Eggs. This show features over 50 artworks, created by more than 50 artists over the past 100 years, including Phyllida Barlow, Louise Bourgeois, Sir Anthony Caro, Patrick Caulfield, Michael Craig-Martin, Dame Elisabeth Frink, Sarah Lucas, Henry Moore and Ben Nicholson. To book this day please see the next tab on the courses. Lunch will be at our own expense in the gallery cafe over looking the fisherman's huts and out to sea.

We will make our own way down to Hastings, sharing lifts if possible. There is a car park close to Hastings Contemporary and their parking charges will apply.
