NATURE WEEK - WILLOW WEAVING OBELISKS OR HARES WITH DOMINIC PARRETTE - TUESDAY 13th MAY 2025
As part of Nature Week Learn from a master weaver how to make your own beautiful obelisk or hare. Which ever you choose will grace your garden, for many years to come.
Willow is a wonderful material to work with and will give your garden beautiful organic structure. Whether your preference is to make a hare or plant support Dominic is the person to show you how.
The obelisks supports are based on a traditional salmon trap design and will be about 6ft high so please bear this in mind for homeward transportation. Your sweet peas, runner beans or tomatoes will have never looked so good.
This course cost £135 including all materials and a light lunch. You need no previous experiment to attend. Our day starts at 10am and finishes around 3.30pm
Should you need a place to rest your head, for a very special experience, enjoy a night or three at The Bell in Ticehurst, where the courses are hosted. If you would like to bring a partner who doesn’t want to do a course, there are plenty of great things to do locally – a perfect staycation to explore the delights of the Kent/Sussex countryside or our favourite arty places locally. Should you be unable to attend, for whatever reason - we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. You are welcome to transfer your course to friends or family, please let us know who will be attending.
